I would like to thank your contributor Annette Lampson for her letter urging the protection of the Six Sacred Mountains we are so blessed to be near and be responsible for.
Jane Goodall has just passed on and her life was devoted to the preservation of nature. She lectured, to the end, to bring education that would awaken the wonder and beauty and necessity of caring for living creatures and forests and waterways to us all.
I join Annette in her request for sanity and the preservation of our forests, so that the physical and emotional well being these precious old trees bring, is still here for our children.
