Vernon-born band makes soundtrack in Netflix series

A B.C. band has played its was into a TV series.
 
Vernon's own daysormay (now based in Vancouver) is stoked to see one of its songs on a Netflix show.
 
Their song Everybody played in My Life with the Walter Boys, in the second season, fourth episode,
 
"It's brought a lot of attention to us and our music," said Aidan Andrews. "We've received over 200K streams already just from fans of the show, over 62K Shazams, and the song was charting at #4 in Canada, Top 20 in the US, and Top 50 in many European countries on the Shazam charts."
 
 
The spotlight is shared among the likes of other musical drops from big artists like Jelly Roll, Gracie Abrams and Teddy Swims.
 
"The show also highlights a lot of other really cool Canadian artists, like young friend, Moira and Claire, The Darcys, etc.," said Andrews.
 
Starring Nikki Rodriguez, My Life With the Walter Boys, features a complicated love triangle among the complicated lives of teenagers.
