Riders and horses combine for team spirit at 55-Plus B.C. Games in Nanaimo

Equestrian competition happening Sept. 10-13 at Beban Park fairgrounds

The 55-Plus B.C. Games aren't just for human participants.

Riders and their horses are teaming up to impress the judges so far this week in equestrian competition at the Beban Park fairgrounds.

There has been dressage and other events at the show rings through the first two days of the games Wednesday and Thursday, Sept. 10-11, and Friday and Saturday, Sept. 12-13, will include working hunter over fences, hunter hack and working hunter derby competitions.
