Little Town Pizza Chemainus is moving to 9780 Willow St. and will be sharing space with Island Pastry Haus.

Little Town Pizza Chemainus is on the move and expanding its offerings in the process.

The local favourite will relocate to a new space at 9780 Willow St. and aims to reopen on Nov. 6, just days after closing its current location on Nov. 3. The transition keeps the business rooted in Chemainus while opening the door to new collaborations and menu options.

“We’ll be sharing space with Island Pastry Haus, and at this time we’ll be focusing on pickup and delivery only,” said owner Sean Fisher. “Island Pastry Haus will continue their bakery production and retail as usual. We’re very excited about the move. It gives us room to grow, and parking will definitely be better.”

Fisher said the two businesses plan to collaborate on cross-menu items while continuing to serve the community together.

While the team originally planned to rebrand as Roberts Street Pizza Chemainus, that change has been delayed due to the ongoing BCGEU strike. For now, the business will continue under its current name.

The company is also preparing to launch a new brand, Yellow House Food Co., operating out of the same building. The new venture will feature smash burgers, frozen meals and frozen pizzas.

“The smash burger menu is being developed by our longstanding manager Chef Cody, who’s been with us for several years,” Fisher said. “This move gives him a chance to bring his ideas to life, and we’re looking forward to seeing that side of his creativity come through.”

A Red Seal chef will also be joining the team to design the line of frozen meals to go, with an emphasis on freshness and quality.

Another new initiative will be the Burger of the Month feature, with $1 from each burger sold going to charity. The first beneficiary will be Wounded Warriors, in honour of Remembrance Day.

Fisher, who spent part of his life on a military base and has family ties to the military, said the cause is close to his heart.

“We also want to send a huge thank you to our community, staff and Island Pastry Haus for all the support and collaboration,” he added.

A website and social media presence for Yellow House Food Co. will launch soon, with more details to follow on the new menu and operations.
