Ed Kowalczyk, of the band Live, will be performing in Abbotsford on Feb. 23, 2026.

B.C. residents will soon have a chance to see the hit '90s band Live live for the first time on home soil in more than 20 years, with the American group recently announcing a brand new cross-Canada tour.

This new batch of shows is in celebration of the 35th anniversary of the group's first record, Mental Jewelry, which was released back in 1991.

Although technically the second album that they had released, it was the first one put out under the Live moniker, with the band having now released eight studio albums since undergoing the name change early in their career.

Longtime fans of Live who may have had the opportunity to see them perform in the '90s or 2000s should be prepared for the band to look quite different this time around due to every original member no longer being a part of the band, with the exception of lead singer Ed Kowalczyk.

Despite the significant lineup changes, plenty of the same hits the band is known for can still be heard in the upcoming Canadian tour, which kicks off in Abbotsford on Feb. 23.

After serenading the West Coast audience at Abbotsford Centre, the tour carries on to Kelowna, followed by stops all across the country, before finally wrapping up the tour in Halifax on March 14.

A couple of fellow legendary '90s and early 2000s bands with Canadian roots will also be playing alongside Live during this tour.

For all 14 Canadian stops, Big Wreck will be opening the show, with Vancouver's Econoline Crush also playing on select dates, including the Abbotsford show.

The full list of Canadian dates includes:

• Abbotsford, B.C. (Feb. 23)
