Downtown Chemainus was buzzing on Saturday, July 5, as the Giant Street Market returned with more than 150 vendors lining Willow Street for a full day of food, fun and friendly faces.
Visitors of all ages flocked to the annual event to shop for thrifty finds, artisanal wares, handmade crafts, clothing, snacks, and those ever-popular “magic worms” that continue to captivate kids year after year.
Local service groups were on hand with fun, interactive booths and helpful information about the work they do in the community.
And yes, there were dogs. So many cute dogs.
