American tribute band Hairball plays on New Year's Eve 2024, during a halftime of a Green Bay Packers-Minnesota Vikings game.

Recreations of the globe's most iconic 1980s bands, from Van Halen to Motley Crue, will soon be heard in Penticton.

Hairball, a longtime Minnesota-based tribute act, is booked to play the Penticton Trade and Convention Centre (PTCC) on March 28, 2026.

Prepare to hear timeless 1980s tunes like Don't Stop Believin' by Journey or Rock and Roll All Nite by Kiss as the band celebrates its 25th year in the Okanagan.

Hairball is also expected to pay homage to Def Leppard, Guns N' Roses, Bon Jovi and the late Ozzy Osbourne.

Along with the cover songs, people will also be treated to "larger-than-life pyrotechnics, lights, and pure rock energy," reads a media release from the PTTC.

Tickets for the band's show go on sale Friday, Oct. 3, at 10 a.m., and can be purchased on valleyfirsttix.com or at the South Okanagan Events Centre box office.
