The RCMP's website appeared to be experiencing technical issues on Sept. 18.
The website, rcmp.ca, which includes the web pages for local detachments, went briefly offline around 12 p.m. before coming back online—sort of. Once back online, the site showed a boilerplate RCMP banner with the message "page not found."
Black Press Media has reached out to the RCMP for more information but did not immediately hear back.
