Tradition reigns at Chemainus Robbie Burns Dinner

Sold out as usual, the event featured dinner, bagpipes and, of course, haggis

It was yet another braw celebration at the Chemainus Legion's annual Robbie Burns Dinner on Jan. 25 along with the required poetry, bagpipes and, of course, haggis.

The sold out crowd enjoyed an excellent meal, prepared by the legion kitchen and catering crew, organized by David, Angela and Georgina.

Once the bagpipes had been blown and the haggis had been properly addressed, attendees were treated to entertainment featuring Scottish songs by David Brown and Scottish dancing by the Celtic Rhythm Dancers.
