Haven't we all had days we wished we could have our friend beside us at our desk, either at school or at work?

Today, you can.

It's National Take Your Teddy Bear to School/Work Day, held during the second week of October, usually on the second Wednesday.

This is a day meant to embrace nostalgia and fun, your "official permission slip to let your childhood companion tag along for the day," said nationaldaycalendar.com

Let’s be honest – a teddy bear or some kind of stuffy was our first best friend. It was a silent confidant for our secrets, a brave guardian against closet monsters, and the perfect snuggle partner when we felt sick or scared. They were the keepers of our childhood tears and our biggest cheerleaders.
