The weather was hot, hot, hot, but Honeymoon Bay Day still drew a crowd to the community for the many activities on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Honeymoon Bay Fire Rescue kicked the event off with a pancake breakfast, followed by the parade at 11 a.m.
Events at the Honeymoon Bay Hall started at 11:15 and ran until 2:30 p.m., including a Best Decorated Bike Contest, a Best Dressed Pet Contest, kids' games, crafts, cake walks, indoor roller skating and a family movie at 3 p.m.
The day was sponsored by Honeymoon Bay Community Society, Honeymoon Bay Fire Rescue, Cowichan Lake Recreation/CVRD, Cowichan Lake District Chamber of Commerce and Island Savings Credit Union.
