Laketown Ranch was packed on Aug. 9 for their star-studded musical lineup of Nickelback, The Glorious Sons and Sam Roberts Band.
It was one of the biggest crowds the venue in Youbou has ever seen, with the show for the popular rockers sold out well before they took the stage.
Lake Cowichan and surrounding communities were flooded with concert-goers who thronged into local eateries and other businesses.
The show launched the property's new Laketown Amphitheatre series that replaced their previous Laketown Shakedown weekend.
By all accounts it was a smashing success.
