A total of 10 days of filming are set to fill the field at Beaver Lake park.

Film crews from the new Netflix series Easton Prep are staged in the Governor General fields and in the parking area near the Elk Lake Drive park entrance.

Park visitors can anticipate temporary area closures and are asked to use caution around equipment and crew. They are expected to be in the area until Sept. 26.

The dramatic series follows a teen girl becoming the only female rower on a prestigious prep school rowing team. Season one filming also brought fire, explosions and American flags to Sidney streets earlier this month.

Other shows in production around Greater Victoria this month include Private Eyes West Coast, set to continue through Sept. 24, as well as movie-of-the-week, All The Familiar Places through Sept. 22.

Private Eyes West Coast is a rare treat where Victoria – which often portrays a U.S. community – plays Victoria. Stars Jason Priestley as Matt Shade and Cindy Sampson as Angie Everett, reprise their roles from the original Private Eyes, which was set in Toronto. The new 10-episode spin-off series sees the two Canadian stars return as private investigators navigating a fresh set of mysteries in their new West Coast home base.

All The Familiar Places, a Front Street Pictures production, is also filming in Vancouver.
