It is with tremendous heartache and sadness that we announce the sudden but peaceful passing of our mom Lorna Reinstein. She was born in Natal, BC on March 2, 1947, and resided in Chemainus until her passing on September 18, 2025. Devoted wife of Gary, and loving mom of Tracey Bernasky (Larry) and Carrie Rowley (Jason). She also leaves behind her dear sister Laurine Gammie of Comox BC. She was adored by her grandchildren: Kelcey (Dean), Jason (Becca), Aaron, Tyler (Jenny) and Nicole and was GG to her cherished great grandsons: Reid and Rowan. Mom was predeceased by her first love and husband, Bill Wright in 1972, her parents, Henry and Ivy; sisters: Arlene and Audrey and many others that were there to greet her when she passed. Our mom took great pleasure in her morning walks; she rarely missed a day. She enjoyed family get-togethers and dancing with her girls. She also had countless adventures with her husband, Gary. They enjoyed catching local prawns and crab in their boat " kNOw FISH" and traveling in their RV. They went across Canada, down to San Diego for many years and locally here on Vancouver Island. There will be a small family gathering held at a later date to celebrate the most amazing woman we've ever known.
