Ladysmith Oktoberfest is back at the High Street Ball Field on Saturday, Sept. 20, from 2 to 8 p.m., with a refreshed mix of music, food and pours for its third year.
“New bands, new beers, new foods!" said Brianne Mactier, president of the Ladysmith Downtown Business Association (LDBA) responsible for the event. "We try to change everything up each year so it’s a unique experience.”
This year’s lineup features 14 participating breweries alongside cider and wine options. LAFF will supply non-alcoholic beverages. On stage, expect rock, country and contemporary brass.
"A little bit of everything on the music side," said Mactier.
There will also be lawn games, crowd-participation contests and prizes for best dressed.
A new VIP ticket option for $75 includes a glass mug, T-shirt, four drink tickets and skip-the-line entry.
This event is always a great time (for those 19-plus) and this year promises to be no exception. Lederhosen optional, prost mandatory.
