Cowichan Bulldogs back to the gridiron

Cowichan Bulldog Kalem Thomas kicks off the bantam football season on Aug. 31. The Bulldogs went on to beat the Campbell River Sea Wolves 60-0.

Peewee

The peewee Cowichan Bulldogs suited up for their first game of the fall season on Sept. 6 against the Southside Spartans at Spectrum.

Southside got the better of Cowichan in a closely contested 28-16 battle.

The peewee squad visits Nanaimo Beastmode on Sept. 13 at Pioneer Park in Nanaimo.

Junior Bantam

A visit to John Barsby to play the Southside Dawgs on Sept. 6 was first on the junior bantam Cowichan Bulldogs' schedule this fall season.

Cowichan lost 32-12.

The JB Bulldogs head north to Campbell River to play the Sea Wolves on Sept. 13 before making their home debut against Oceanside the following week at McAdam Park. 

Bantam

The bantam Cowichan Bulldogs kicked off their fall season at McAdam Park on Aug. 31 with a commanding 60-0 victory over the Campbell River Sea Wolves. The Bulldogs looked to make it two home wins in a row with a game against the Nanaimo Seahawks on Sept. 7 but fell just short. The final score was 27-16.

Cowichan travels to Cloverdale on Sept. 14 for a match-up against the Leopards.

Midget

The Nanaimo Seahawks visited the midget Cowichan Bulldogs on Sept. 7 at McAdam Park. It wasn't the result Cowichan had hoped for, as they lost 33-0.
