Brendan Shykora

I started my career with the Morning Star as a carrier at the age of eight. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from UBC Okanagan, majoring in English. In 2019, I graduated from the Master of Journalism program at Carleton University. During my time in the capital, I wrote feature articles about star amateur athletes for the Ottawa Sportspage, and interned at the Ottawa Citizen. Whenever I have spare time, I enjoy reading and playing golf.
I always enjoy engaging with people in the community I serve. Email me at [email protected] with questions, comments and story tips.
