Three people were taken to hospital after a collision that involved a vehicle driving the wrong way on Highway 19 near Chef Creek Bridge, close to Deep Bay, on Sept. 24.

Oceanside RCMP and other emergency services responded to the two vehicle collision on Highway 19 at approximately 9:45 p.m., according to Sgt. Shane Worth.

"The crash occurred when a white SUV travelling south in the northbound lanes collided with a red sedan travelling north in the northbound lanes," Worth told the PQB News.

There was one occupant in the SUV and two occupants in the sedan, and all three were transported to hospital for treatment.

None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening, according to police.
